Donnie Goins

Donnie has mostly lived in the RTP area since graduating from NC State in Electrical Engineering in 1985.  He led teams and companies in technology for the following areas: digital telecom, wireless, network management, and security.  He is co-founder of two current startups located in the RTP and Silicon Valley.  He is a member of the NC State Engineering Foundation Board and the Hunt Library Technical Advisory Board.  He received his MBA from Duke in 1994.  He spends time mentoring and working with startups coming out of NC State (especially the Engineering Entrepreneurs Program). He and his wife Lorie have one daughter in elementary school. He enjoys family time, golf and running.
